  • I first became interested in biochemistry during my undergraduate studies in biology. I was fascinated by the complex chemical reactions and processes that take place within living organisms, and I wanted to learn more about how these processes are regulated and how they can be disrupted.


After completing my bachelor's degree, I decided to pursue a master's degree in biochemistry. During my graduate studies, I focused on studying enzymes and their role in various metabolic pathways. I also learned about the structure and function of proteins, carbohydrates, and lipids, and how they interact with each other to maintain cellular homeostasis.

This research helped me gain hands-on experience in the laboratory, and also taught me how to design and conduct experiments, as well as how to interpret and present data.


After completing my master's degree, I decided to continue my education and pursue a doctoral degree in biochemistry. During my doctoral studies, I focused on studying the regulation of gene expression in eukaryotic cells.   • I have been studying biochemistry for the past four years as a part of my undergraduate degree in biology.


My first introduction to biochemistry was in my second year of college, when I took a course on cell and molecular biology. This course provided me with a foundational understanding of the chemical reactions and processes that occur within cells, including the structure and function of biomolecules such as proteins, carbohydrates, and lipids.


In the following semester, I took a course specifically focused on biochemistry. This course delved deeper into the chemical mechanisms of biological processes, including enzymatic reactions, metabolic pathways, and regulation of gene expression. I learned about the structures and functions of key biomolecules such as enzymes, DNA, and RNA, and how they interact with each other to carry out essential cellular processes.


In my third year, I took an advanced biochemistry course that focused on the biochemical pathways involved in energy metabolism and signal transduction. This course emphasized the importance of biochemistry in understanding disease processes and developing therapeutic interventions.
